After God finished his creation, everything was perfect - no pain, no death, no suffering, nothing but Paradise. Then something went wrong. The first man and woman made a choice that had eternal consequences and still have severe ramifications today. All creation would be rocked by their decision and sin would become a part of mankind's very DNA. What is sin? What is the danger of sin? We'll take a look at that in this message from Genesis 3.

Over the last several years the veracity of the early chapters of Genesis have come under fire. Was everything created in 6 days? Were Adam and Eve real people? Did a worldwide flood really cover the earth? Are these things important to our Christian faith? Or are they things we should vehemently defend? Genesis 1:1 stands as a verse that will determine how we view the totality of God's word.

Thousands of years have passed since the Lord God Almighty handed down the Ten Commandments to Moses on Mount Sinai. What purpose did they serve? Do they still serve a purpose today? Are they relevant? What can we learn about ourselves and God from taking a close look at them?

WWJD - it has become an iconic Christian symbol: "What would Jesus do?" We often think of Jesus as always having a peaceful, merciful, calm response. But one day, that was not the case. One day in righteous indignation, the Son of God cleared the temple courtyards with a resounding shout and a whip of cords. What made him flip out? And what can we learn from it today?

How powerful is the Lord Jesus Christ? We need look no further than Mark chapter 5. In this single chapter we see Jesus defeat a legion of demons, a 12 year debilitating disease and the finality of death. One chapter. Three overwhelming miracles. Who is this man?

What is the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing again and again yet expecting different results. What happens when Jesus encounters a man at the Pool of Bethesda that has been looking for a miracle for 38 years? How does this apply to us and our walk in the Christian life? Jesus words to this man still ring true for us today: "Rise, take up your bed, and walk." I had the joy of preaching this message at Church - a storefront church in the middle of downtown Hot Springs, AR on a Friday night.

One of the greatest scientists (vaccinologist to be exact) of the 20th century created numerous vaccines that may have saved your life. He may be the reason you are alive and reading this today. Could you name this obscure individual? Could you claim this mystery man as your savior? How about Jesus? Have you ever heard of him? Did you hear about his death on the cross for the sins of the world? Looking around at the world today where sin is rampant and his name ridiculed, would you say he was a successful savior? In the closing sermon of the Success series, that's the exact question we will tackle.
